How to write information technology paper?

Friends,

I wish you have completed your study of all papers and ready for exam.

After discussion with some students I come to know that they have well preparation of information technology paper but failed to answer their views in proper way.

I want to discuss some points to remember while writing information technology paper. I wish these will help you.

Read the full paper before going to write.

Your handwriting must be readable

Simple Paper First: If you are good in IT go for IT first or vice a versa

Simple Question First: write down answers to simple questions first.

Keep in mind – students write to much while writing simple questions because they know much about it. Do not do this thing. Write only that much which is required.

Write Conceptually: answer the question based on conceptual understanding of the topics and not merely grasping the topic.

The flow of answer should be proper. It should not happen that you are explaining the concept first and then defining it.

Flow Chart:

            Read question thoroughly

            Write down shortcuts used before flow chart.

            Use proper diagrams

            Complete all the connections

            Remember to stop the flow chart

            Check the result of flowchart before going to next question.
      Point wise Answers: write down point wise answer. Point wise means explaining each point in separate paragraph. Students think that point wise means writing points only. Explain the points otherwise you will not get marks.

Some classes provide revision material which contains points only. These are to be used to remember the points to write and explain and not just writing.

Confusional Questions: Students always confused in writing to questions related to

           Benefits

           Characteristics

           Functions and

           Advantages

     Highlight the important word in answer

     Difference between define, describe, state  and explain

           Define: give the meaning of the word, like definitions

           Describe: give some characteristics of the item defined (Definition + Characteristic)

           State: This will usually be followed by a question word like how, why, when etc, but will usually require you to give a fact

           Explain: provide more complete information

     Remember to Give Question numbers and recheck.
